One of the things that helped me wake up, was a brother actually saying the following words to me: "Sometimes, we have to just blindly follow the Slave."

My head starated spinning, and I realized I was involved in something very much like the Jim Jones cult.

Its almost like its a man made religious cult out to gather up power, control and hence money out of people.........naaah !

But its still God's only solemn organization here on earth , Dam it !

And I will bite anyones ankle that dares to disagree with me !

Stepford families are what so many Witnesses are.

Who the hell is "The Slave" anyway?

    It really is something else.

When presented with a new idea/permission/forbidden act/etc., they read it as if finding out for the first time what it is and how to react to it.

They remain spiritual infants, because the Watchtower does not allow them to grow.

I remember a DO holding up a bible at an assembly and saying, "To me this bible looks black. But if the GB told me it was white, I'd say it was white." I didn't think anything of it at the time.

An elder once told me that he would rather be wrong with the WT than right by himself. I agreed with him.

God, I'm glad I'm out of that cult. It makes me sick to remember it.
