I just got back from seeing it and it is fantastic. All i can say is GO SEE IT!
It was so moving, kept me gripped for the whole time and now i wanna go to India.
Also the leading lady, Frieda Pinto is beautiful.

Seen it, loved it.
Can't believe it was a low budget film - I thought the photography was stunning and very atmospheric.
The child actors were absolutely brilliant.
It deserves all the success it is going to get.
However, it definitely didn't make me want to go to India - perhaps the opposite!

I know what you mean SAB, it did turn me off a bit but my mum is half anglo-indian and so from that point of view it made me want to see her roots.
