Was Pittsburgh's last Super Bowl win legit?

OK I'm a huge Seahawks fan, and a bit of a Steelers fan. I was ticked about the officiating at that game, but I have to agree with a comment above, you play through it. It's part of the game, too. If the Seahawks had played better nobody would be talking about this.

Funny, there was a bad call a couple of weeks ago, or the Steelers kicker deserves an oscar for acting like he'd been hit. Like I said, part of the game.

I watched that one. Yep. The Seahawks had a touchdown called back and the Steelers had a couple of touchdowns handed to them by the refs. I think the outcome was decided before the game was even played. The Bus was retiring and he didn't have a Superbowl ring. Boo Hoo.

Shaun Alexander didn't have one either. Shame he got hurt and his career ended with a whimper. He's a great guy. He still comes back to Alabama to help the Tide in spring practice.

Yes the win against Seattle was legit. Sorry things happen in games, refs make mistakes (no that was NOT interference against Lynn Swann in Super Bowl 13), but it's up to the team to win the game irregardless. Cowboys didn't then, Seahawks didn't later on.

Pittsburgh beat the Cowboys in Super Bowl 13, just like they beat Seattle. It's legit. Case closed.

And this is from a huge Cowboys fan who collects old NFL games.

There are 3 games that still to this day stick in my gut: the Ice Bowl (1967 game against the Packers); Super Bowl 13 and '81 Championship game against the 49ers (The Catch). To this day, I can't watch even a play of either game, even though I've got 2 of the 3 in my collection, but to be fair the Cowboys had a chance to beat the Steelers. Jackie Smith dropped a sure touchdown pass, and the difference was 4 points. If he catches it, that game goes to overtime and I truly believe the Cowboys win as the Steelers defense was gassed at the end.

I will never ever root for the Steelers, I truly hate them (along with the Redskins) but I have to give them their due.
