Hard Disk Space, RAM and Bandwidth - very difficult indeed to have too much - I remember when I got 4 x 32 EDO RAM -everyone was envious - that is snail pace now

How about 1K of onboard memory on the old TS1000 with a 16K memory expansion pack... I had one of these:

The "every thing to be invented" remark has been attributed to Charles H. Duell, U.S. Patent Office Commissioner, but according to some sources, it is just a rumor. He is reported to have made that statement to President McKinley in 1899.
I'm thinking of bundling all my tech needs. We're quite limited down here.

The Timex Sinclair was my first computer. I wrote programs and saved them to cassette tapes. My dad got it for me as a gift. I hooked it up to our projector TV with the 6' screen. Here is how my programming sounded. Bee doop beep wooop bop beeep.

Snakes: That was my first puter!!! With an awesome 1K! I loved that 16K memory pack....it seemed like a lot of memory in those days. But it got hot when used as I recall.

Burn....You'll love this. I had a cassette-tape flight simulator game which was pretty fun -- until I taped over it to record an episode of the Jeffersons. It was a hilarious episode and in those days, we had no VCRs.
Remember that dinosaur in a maze game?

LOL. Remember the one where you shot at overhead aircraft? I wasn't even 10 at the time. The ergonomics of the keyboard sucked. Before we hooked it up to a tape player we would code the program and after a reboot it was all gone. My dad's friend had a RAM pack for his, he was a badass.

I think I was 11 or 12. We got the Syntax Newsletter and it had all sorts of fun BASIC programs to try out. I was most happy with a star fighter game that shot asterisks at approaching alien ships, kind of like Space Invaders.
That keyboard sucked. The computer as a whole sucked. My Atari console was way better. But it still was a fun toy at the time.
