In what foreign countries is it acceptable by JWs to have a beard?

OK in Ireland, but you can't be on the platform at a district convention (I'm not sure what scripture that's from). But you WILL get heat from some people over it, and it depends how "moldable" you are whether you shave it or not.

are we talking brothers or sisters here? I think we are talking about sisters here as they do not give talks from the platform.
In the possible event this topic is about brothers, i used to have terrific fun when i arranged talks in inviting the occasional speaker, who i knew had beard to give a talk, watching the obvious discomfort of some in the congregation more than made up for heat i received.
In the UK it is my experience that it is another no no

We have had a few locally,(Mid-Kent), in the congo I exited early last year the School overseer wears a beard, and gives away talks.
as I posted on another thread or two,I wore a beard here in U.K for thirteen years, but they wouldn't have me on a Circuit assy programme wearing it in 1988.

I once attended a District Convention in Denmark and one of the speakers had a beard.
I saw Norway and Sweden listed here. I highly doubt that this is acceptable in those countries, cause I am a native myself.. Even moustaches are banned until this day in some congregations if you are enrolled at the TMS... etc...
