  I was taught,that I was going to Live Forever in the New System..I would not get to high school in this system..Thats how close we were to Armageddon!....................................................................................................Now my children are grown and have lives of thier own.....JW relatives who put me out of their lives because I did not believe their religion,are dead.....It`s funny in a Black Humour kind of way..To see people who will punish you for not believeing they will live forever,die..They may have pissed me off..But..In the end..They were able to make me laugh..LOL!!.........It was and is all Bullshit.....Those people died waiting to have a life..LOL!!..They had it all along and wasted it....................................................................................................................................Personally,I don`t worry about death..How the hell do you know when your dead?..Unless your sitting in a Kingdom Hall listening to the same old crap..I think thats about as close to death as you can get,while still being conscious..LOL!!.............................................................................................................................................................How do you feel about your own mortality?..Is it odd for you to see people who preached they were going to live forever,die?.....Do you live and appreciate life more?.....How do you feel about being taught you would live forever,only to find out you were lied to?....................................................................The WBT$ sell`s the "Big Lie"(Everlasting Life) at a very Hefty Price..What the WBT$ wants for for something they can never deliver,is..The only time you have here,to live.

  I agree. I was talking last summer to a witness friend who knew I didn't go to the hal but never knew the why. I explained my simple reason to her and I could tell the programing waas kicking in. I told her she could look up the facts for herself cause I am not trying to convince or turn anyone away from their beliefs.

  Than I told her point blank, either the dubs are right and soon billions will be destroyed in the big A, or 10-20 years from now, we'll still be here and will have missed out on some good times together.

  Thats the reason many JWS such as myself left because it was all such a bunch of confluted lies ,

  and I wanted to know what really was the Truth after all.

  I realized I didn't appreciate being lied to by a religious book publishing company or either was I going to sell their lies to other people

  because I could see the problems it was causing .

  Being that god never told lies this obviously wasn't his organization after all it was simply mans.

  After a period of time I found out that all relgion is bullshit, you might say I found The Truth

  When I was a child, the idea of having access to TRUTH had great appeal to me. It still does, in fact.

  Sadly, I found that the more my understanding of the world around me increased, the less reliable and TRUE the teachings of the WTB&TS became.

  Not only are their teachings untrue, but the WTB&TS resorts to various forms of intellectual dishonesty to sell their month-old, stinking, rotten untruthful fish. I think that is what I most resent about them. either they are monumental fools or they think everyone else is.

  Especially pernicious is their pipe-dream doctrine of everlasting life and the faulty perception of reality that this irrational idea leaves in those who believe it.

  Nothing in the cosmos is "everlasting."

  Happily, that includes the doctrines of the Watchtower.

  NathanNatus..I was brought up to think the WBT$ had the Truth..And..The WBT$ was a Huge organization..........I found out,they lied about anything they wanted to..Including how big they are in the world of Christianity.....Jehovah`s Witness`s are such a small group..They don`t even make up,a single full pecentage point,in the World of Christianity...................................................

  The invisible carrot that keeps on disappearing whenever you get closer to it, but its still there, really.

  Its somewhat shameful what man will do to one another for the sake of power and control, when you look at it.

  Nevertheless there are a group of the Society's uneducated men that are going to replace the doh brains that are seated

  at the top only to reestablish some different cultivated lies to maintain this damaging organization of sorts.

  Good Post Outlaw. When I was a young child 55 years ago I remember laying in bed

  crying worrying about Armegeddon and how my dad was going to die because he did

  not want to be a JW like my mom. I was terrified of losing my dad by the hand of God.

  Well, my dad did die, not at armegeddon, but by a heart attack. My mom reassured me

  though by the words "well TooBad TooSad at least your dad will now be resurrected and

  he would not if he lived to see the great tribulation."

  When I go to the KH all that the Witnesses are people who check their brains in at the

  door before they go in and then become the walking dead who act like robots who

  cling on to every word that the Watchtower says, and keep praying and hoping for the

  day when the great god of love will murder 99.9% of earths population and then they

  get to walk over the dead bodies of their relatives and neighbors who died because they

  did not buy the Watchtower and Awake from some pimpley faced teenager who was only

  out in service to make his parents happy and turn in 2 hours of fied service.

  Homer..It`s Like Jehovah`s Witness`s are at the Race Track..Waiting for thier Dead Horse to finally win a race..LOL!!.....................................................................................TooBad TooSad..Yes,being a JW Kid is absolutely no fun..I remember constantly being afraid of Armageddon..And..I was told the Government was going to round us all up and put us in Concentration Camps..What a way to raise your kids............I sometimes feel like I was raised,by Escaped Mental Patients!..LOL!!..................
