The ones that I have met (Bible believers) all seem to accept the current scientific consensus that the Earth orbits the sun. I'm not saying that they all reject Bible truth but I suspect that the majority do.

Sorry but whats your point? Are you suggesting that the bible says the sun goes round the earth?
Where in scripture does it say that the Earth doesn't orbit the sun?

To add to what Satanus said there also Joshua telling the sun to stand still would be another example of why some creationists believe that the sun orbits the Earth.
Everyone does realize that this heliocentric universe is only a theory right? Just like evolution is only a theory.
