Wow, those photos, that is one ugly building.
The lack of windows and the general landscaping makes it look more like a public washroom in a park than any kind of church / place of worship!
It's as if the Watchtower Society wants to pretend it has nothing to do with local congregations.
I think this is the likely reason. Maybe it's future abuse rings that are going to come to light and they want a way to say "oh, they're just franchises, not our representatives at all". Who knows.
But the WT logo is their golden arches. They slap that thing on anything they can put a price on. So the other explanation could be that it makes buildings more generic and thus more marketable.
Their primary business does now seem to be real estate flipping after all.
