Welll, he is waiting to sign up. Here they are!

Hi Leslie! Just wondering if you could do a post for me? I am patiently waiting for the forums to accept new member;still. I have read lots though...and I think it has been great to clarify so many things!

I have a good friend who is a current Witness. I don't have the heart to lay all the thoughts expressed on the site to her,I am firm beleiver that everyones time must come, and her time will be when she chooses to "look".Anyways, she got dished quite a few years ago,and then reinstated about 8 months ago. In the meantime she has fallen in love with a "worldly guy",and now,as luck would have it,she is prego. She is bracing for another df'ing, but deep down she would love to stay 'in',so that she can make things as easy on her family as possible.Anyone here think there is anyway she could pull it off? I know it makes no sense, but it is her life, not mine and I would love to be able to offer her something.

On a side note i have a few questions of my own if that's ok?

Do you think that there are arrangements between members of the gb,maybe even contracts, regarding privacy and confidentiality agreements, espically after Franze left?Perhaps limiting public statements etc?

Do we know anything about the room they meet in to discuss things? Is it soundproof?Have any artifacts? Is it considered a 'holy room' or anything?

Do the "company directors" get anything back for the title they hold?Contributions or anything?Do they contribute any money at these meetings to the wts?

How does the writing process of articles and books happen? One guy in a room writing? At a desk ?With how much input from the other members of the gb?Do people outside of the gb have any influence?

What is the structure of the organization itself?

I am one of probably many waiting to get on the board...I have been following many of your conversations for months now and look forward to "meeting" youin the future.

Looks like her reinstatement was premature, due to a faulty connection between the elders on the Judicial Committee and the holy spirit that knows all and directs all in WT-land. There will be no happy ending for this former maiden as long as she seeks the approval of the elders.

Do we know anything about the room they meet in to discuss things? Is it soundproof?Have any artifacts? Is it considered a 'holy room' or anything? Gilead students get to tour this room as part of their Brooklyn Bethel tour. We were not allowed to take pictures. There was a painting of Jesus and the 12 apostles hanging on the wall (quite suggestive of who they think they are, can you say "apostolic succession"?LOL), and a conference table. There was no Shekinah light. There were two shaded windows looking out onto the park in from of the 25 building. I believe this "sacred room" is on the 6th floor of the 25 building. Meetings are held on Wednesdays (one of the "Lord's days", since these lords take weekends off) as far as I know.

Do the "company directors" get anything back for the title they hold?Contributions or anything?Do they contribute any money at these meetings to the wts? As far as I know they don't get any cash perks from the WTS, unless you call perks the nicest largest rooms, free cars and transportation ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, and the adulation of 7 million people and their green handshakes. Besides that, nothing.

How does the writing process of articles and books happen? One guy in a room writing? At a desk ?With how much input from the other members of the gb?Do people outside of the gb have any influence?

There is a writing dept, consisting mainly of members of the other sheep. (So much for the anointed remnant feeding the other sheepies... that is such a load of bull crap, because it's the experienced other sheepies writing the stuff and one old member of the GB rubberstamping it. That's not part of the FDS parable, is it?) Of course, the GB must decide what will be written, and then the actual writing is done by other lemmings (read other sheep).

I'll leave someone else to answer the other questions...

So Awakened One, what you are saying is that the "sheeple" have learned the lingo, write it up, and 9 older fellers say, "hey, that sounds divine!" Then give the go ahead?

I believe you...but is there any 'proof' of this?
