no, they don't. I remember the front cover of the WT about 2nd coming of Jesus about one or two years ago. Maybe someone can post the front cover here.

umm...kinda one of thier main doctrines that he came in 1914.....so no they don't reject it, they just think that it has already happened

Dubs believe in the second coming of Jesus, but they believe it will be (or was) INVISIBLE. Everything Jesus has done since his second coming has been invisible. Invisibility is a very convenient thing to have when the WTS decides to change their Armageddon timeline --- again.

I'm an atheist, so I don't believe that there was, is, or will be a second coming of any deity or deity wannabe.

Parakeet....if he is invisible or spirit creatures are invisible....do you think birds fly through them or into them?

That is, if they are in this realm?

Birds? BIRDS? What do birds have to do with this? You asked what the JWs believe about the Second Coming, and then you asked what I think. I answered both questions.

As to your last question (and I can't believe I'm answering it), I think birds fly through the air, occasionally smacking into jetliners, not "invisible spirit creatures." This thread is almost as weird as your blood-drinking vampire/angel thread.

And, as long as we're on the subject, what do YOU think about the questions you asked (minus the bird/spirit creature collision business). One cannot exchange opinions and discussion if you don't state your own beliefs (again, no blood, birds, vampires, aliens, etc. -- sheesh).

Ah, cameo, you're just having yourself a good old time baiting us with crazy questions. And we're crazy enough to answer them. A good time was had by all.

    Hi,

Of course they reject the bible, just like the other core beliefs concerning Jesus! Have a read of these and see if you can see anything about 1914, "invisible" or such!

Matthew 24: 26 "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Luke 17:23 Men will tell you, 'There he is!' or 'Here he is!' Do not go running off after them. 24 For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

Matthew 24:36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

So yes, Jesus is coming soon, don't just "look busy" as the tee shirt says but make sure you are ready :)

John 3:5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

    All the best,

    Stephen

Don't they actually have 3 comings of Christ? the first time (biblical account) when He died on the cross, second time when He came invisibly 1914 and the third time at the big A?
