F2T-so I take it you have a thing for ugly, bearded dudes?
I prefer 'faces that have character and personality.
But yes i do! I unusual-looking, bearded dudes.

That was hilarious. It's all a show. Watch the very end of the clip where he pulls his glasses off and says something to Letterman.

I agree he looked like he didn't want to be there to plug his movie. Couldn't remember his co-star's on purpose. Letterman really tried to joke with him and he wouldn't go for it. He did lean into Dave at the end and tell him something. Maybe, he is messed up because of the fall he took recently. And like everyone else says he is so through with Hollywood and acting. When Dave invited him back to do his music, Dave said like that will happen. He said he owed Farrah an apology. So, was it drugs?

This isn't the first time Letterman had an out-of-control guest.
About 10 years ago, Letterman interviewed Madonna. For fifteen minutes (maybe longer -- it seemed forever), she made a complete and total ass out of herself. She ignored his questions, made a lot of off-color comments, refused to let Letterman go to a commercial break, telling him he was a coward if he did. It was very uncomfortable to watch -- not funny at all. I don't know if she was on something or was trying to be outrageous (but was just obnoxious).
At the end of the show, Letterman looked straight into the camera and said, "I'm sorry!" He refused to do any more interviews with her for several years. I think they've mended fences, but I stopped watching the show by then.
