LETS SAY I TOLD THEM SOMETHING SCANDALIOUS ABOUT AN ADHERENT OF ANOTHER DEMINATION(SP?), WOULD THEY SPREAD IT AROUND?

Out in service once, A sister and I purposely told something untrue to someone in the congregation.
We speculated that someone was pregnant, that we were pretty sure of it.
We told her it was a secret and probably best not to tell anyone
She told it and before you knew it, it was all over.
It was funny. Probably mean to do, but we called her out on it.
There have been sisters that I told things to, just to make sure it got round the congregation.

It would be used as FS experience fodder at the next TMS......

Since rumors are rarely about goodness it would be proof of Satan's influence in that particular denomination.....
Thankfully the JWs have the slave who was appointed in 1919!

Of course, when I attended a brother once said "There are three modes of communication telephone, telegraph, and tell a sister. They have nothing better to do they love those hot rumors.

Purplesofa, I like the idea of telling one person that I know of something very untrue and see the asshole gossiper getting in a big trouble. He! He!

I counted on it. I used to say very derogotory things about the elders to a MS I used to drink with, knowing it would get back to them. It was common knowledge that he was an alcoholic, and he was also diagnosed with a mental illness for which he refused medication. Anything he may have repeated to the elders could not realistically be used as "evidence" against me, so I had my fun.
