I have an African Grey parrot, and if I fed him only seeds and pellets, he'd go on a hunger strike. The bulk of his diet is fruit, vegetables, and a seed/pellet mix.
He also likes pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, peanuts, cookies, mashed potatoes, chicken and pot roast. He doesn't get these every day; just as a special treat now and then. Does Rocco like human food, too?
BTW, pet birds are also invited to the "celebration." No dogs or cats, for obvious reasons.
Yep, Rocco likes human food. He usually gets pellets and vegetables, but he also loves cashews, sweet potatos, bananas, my carrot ginger soup, split pea soup, peanut butter. He will attack for whipped cream or ice cream, and he gets these as special treats and only in small amounts. He'll eat my stuffed peppers and pork chops, but won't touch chicken. He gives me dirty looks when I'm eating chicken.
I don't even know when the memorial is this year.

Yeah ... when is the Memorial anyway? Haven't attended one in 7 years.
I really don't know - could care less too.
