I am feeling briefly rich. Tomorrow my husband gets his bonus as well as it being payday. His bonus is doubling one pay period, so that's nice. And we get our tax refund(biggest ever) on Monday.
Briefly since I am paying off a buttload of bills, but it will be so nice to pay them off. A real load off, you know?
Just wanted to share my happy day in that way.
I've never bought a lottery ticket. Maybe I'll buy one and go to a casino this weekend.
Congrats JWD. There are few things that feel better than being out of debt. If you aren't there yet, I hope someday you are.

How much IS mega millions now? I'm greedy, I will only buy a ticket when it seems worth the risk:) I want enough dreams to justify the $5. I figure $5 is a small price to pay to dream I could win and take care of my family nicely. But if it isn't an obscene amount of money, I just fret about taxes and if it would last through retirement(inflation is crazy, you know!)
Mega is now 120,000,000. That is 120 million. If that doesn't get me through to retirement, then there would really be messed up. I feel LUCKY!!!
Jw daughter, don't go blowing your extra money on gambling. Pay some bills, and put a little aside for a rainy day.
Do you know why the stimulus bill won't work? Because most people will use their extra stimulus refund (if and when we get it) to buy a new plazma t.v. or something of that sort. Then, they'll be broke again, and in the same situation.
Pay some of those bills, instead.

Well, with the bills paid, it will be a nice start. You will now save money on late charges and interest fees on those bills, which are supposed to stop once they are paid up.
Just don't blow any by putting it in the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund--if you were still active, I bet that they would ask you to donate the whole bonus and your tax refund both into that fund.
