Baba...I just LOVE those old movie classics and elegant dance scenes. More, please.
And I especially like Coco's thread topics because they really lift us out of the mundane and away from all the irrational fears for awhile. Don't you agree?

We used to, but my wife's knees are shot and my ticker has passed it's use by date.
It took my wife decades of nagging to get me to take a dancing lesson. It was worth it. We had a great time.
Paul Mecurio is a regular on New Zealand's 'Dancing With The Stars'. We have not missed a single episode.

Not anymore. ...and not for a long while.
When I was a wee lad though, I wanted to learn to Disco. I went in to a dance studio - and told them so. They said they would teach me. I signed up. Months later, I had learned the Tango, Waltz, Rhumba, Fox Trot, and many other ballroom dances... but no Disco.
I even went to a nearby city for a competition dance - where many people had gathered together. It was in a ballroom in some hotel in Austin, TX. (It was even held on a Sunday - I missed a JW meeting that day - to go to this.)
Anyway... I think I was doing the Tango - and I got First Place with my dance instructor. I think they just wanted me to sign up for more dance lessons though... I wasn't _that_ good.
Ballroom dancing is lots of fun.

I love to dance - I haven't really done any ball room or anything fantastic but am always keen if I have a willing partner to lead the way.
I love watching ball room - the men & women move so sensually, so gracefully and with such poise. Oh and don't forget the smile smile smile.
