Well, if birth control is robbing God, then God is robbing Himself every time He drives the opposite sex away from me (unless, that is, He intends for me to spread the cancer of the Washtowel or the virus of "regular" religion in sequestered religious service). In which case, God is robbing me.
And no, $145 is a bit on the steep side for this kind of a book. I paid $25 for a book about "The God Virus", which is far more reasonable. I paid $20 for Crisis of Conscience, which is far more reasonable. I paid $350 for three books from the "secret society" I joined to slap the washtowel, and those three books were much higher quality and hence much more reasonable. To spend $145 to learn that birth control is wrong is expensive for what you get.

People whose genes are destroying the gene pool are the ones who don't practice birth control.
And, the people whose genes would enrich the gene pool are the ones who do use birth control.
