Jindal's speech was too conciliatory and fluffy. I just read the text and it was weak, so it is not just delivery. I can forgive delivery id the ideas are sound. They should have put me up there. I would have reamed 'em. The problem is that you can't just put out good ideas. People are too brain-dead these days. They want someone to follow and make them feel safe and warm. Like lambs before a slaughter. People are desperate for a savior. They need to save themselves.

Burn, I think it's time you step away from the media. You live in a great place, have a beautiful family, and your finances are seemingly ok. Relax dude. If I can live through 8 years of Reagan, and 8 years of Dubya, you can manage at least 4 years of Obama.

Bush did not implement a libertarian form of government. He grew the government faster than anyone before him. I and others like me will not sit idly by while your ilk turn this country into a banana republic too cold to grow bananas in. I cared, and I did not vote for Obama. Seeing what he has done in his short term, I feel incredibly vindicated.
