In some of the documentaries I've watched about the WTS collapse, it was pointed out that some of the firefighters were fully aware that the towers would collapse. The mixture of extremely hot burning jet fuel and steel girders with a lower temperature melting pointing made collapse an inevitability. If anyone could do the math, the firefighters could. Perhaps the newscasters got wind of that fact and reported the collapse prematurely. Everyone was not quite in their right minds that day.
