...not exactly, but I have sat in a car waiting for my wife and observed people coming and going from a market or shopping center. It is interesting to observe our fellow man. As the old TV show intro said, "There are a million stories in the Naked City...this is one of them."

Those are called "glory holes". Usually found in the stalls at truck stops.
