Have we arrived at the Great Day of God Almighty, Armageddon?
Re.16:14-16.
14 for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
15 (Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walked naked, and they see his shame.)
16 And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Har-magedon.
Is NOT the great city( BABYLON THE GREAT) now split into three parts? FALSE RELIGION, CORRUPT POLITICS, AND GREEDY COMMERCE
Rev.16:19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath.
Are NOT all national governments in great CONCERN over world economic crisis.
Rev.18:9-17
9"When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. 10Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:
" 'Woe! Woe, O great city,
O Babylon, city of power!
In one hour your doom has come!
Is there NOT NOW a COLLAPSE OF WORLD MARKETS?
11"The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes any more— 12cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; 13cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and bodies and souls of men.
14"They will say, 'The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your riches and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.' 15The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn 16and cry out:
" 'Woe! Woe, O great city,
dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet,
and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls!
17In one hour such great wealth has been brought to ruin!'
Can we now expect an end to this system and a begining of the new?

They did this in 1929. They did this in 1974--remember, that was the year before Armageddon was supposed to have happened, and we were in a recession then. They did this in 2001 after the terror attack. And now they are at it again. If the world as we know it does end this time, it will be because a few humanoids decide to seize control of us, pass regulations so everything we do is what they tell us, and mess up to the extent that we no longer are able to live the 30 years or so that it takes to reproduce (or they tell us that all sex is bad and outlaw it).
Being one of Jehovah's Witlesses is NOT going to save anyone from this!

I was reading somewhere that if the world was going through a major crisis, the best thing to do was to make a victory garden, load up on canned and dry goods and buy a water filter and stock up on fresh water. Do you know of any dub that did the needed stocking up on canned and dry goods and fresh water? If they really believed the end was going to come, they wouldn't be messing around with magazines, but they'd be buying loads of pasta, beans, pasta sauce and dehydrated orange juice, much like the Mormons.
