I have 9 flowering pear trees,1 crabapple,1 honey locust,5 birch's,and 2 large evergreens on my property. The pear trees throw a beautiful spectacle every spring. My wife on the other would chop every tree down if she could.
We had two flowering pears but lost one last summer.
R&R, you got some pics?
I love the pear trees in the fall as well, so vibrant when the leaves turn red.
We have a beautiful gardenia bush in the back by the pool, can't wait till it blooms.
And we also will landscape around the pool, we put in some new steps and tore the ground up doing it.
Does anyone have a vegetable garden, I am putting one in this year.

I'm going to grow some jalepenos and tomatoes in some upside down pots I'm going to hang from the balcony.

I don't have any photos. We live on 1/2 acre of land in the midwest. The pear trees are dormant right now but they will bloom in about a month. The white flowers stay on about 2 weeks and are absolutely beautiful. The leaves turn a light red in the fall and brown in the winter. The leaves sometimes hang on into the month of January.
upside down pot?
how you gonna do that?
