All reasonable questions and questioners welcome on JWN but not on JW websites.

    Indeed.

Plus on JWN there are answers for difficult or inconvenient questions about the Watchtower.

A person seeking truth asks questions. A person secure in his knowledge of truth welcomes questions. But a person taking refuge in error loathes questions.

Those confident about their stance in truth welcome the light of critical scrutiny and cross-examination and are willing to come to that light that all may see that their stance is indeed in truth. But those doubtful about their stance in truth do not want to come to the light of scrutiny and cross-examination in order that their stance may not be revealed as being a stance in error.

Truth breeds conviction and invites scrutiny. Error breeds insecurity and stifles scrutiny.

Truth flourishes in openness and tends to be persuasive. Deception flourishes in censorship and tends to be coercive.

JWs are on the side of error masquerading as truth. They tell themselves that their error is beneficial and superior to the error of all others. They don't want people upsetting their comfortable errors with questions that point to uncomfortable truths.
