The title of the thread reminded me of when my sister had her son. I went to see them at the hospital and some witness friends of hers showed up while I was visiting. Rather than enjoy the spiritual association I chose to pick up the baby book and peruse the entries my sister had already made. All was well until I got to a page that had a list to fill out, the title of which was, "Mommy's favorite things". My stomach dropped as I read 1. Jehovah, 2. Daddy, 3. <insert nephew's name here>. How does your child come to be number 3 on your list? I mean, okay, maybe as a teenager since it's a list of favorite things and not most important things, but on the day of his birth? Yeah, I decided I was done looking through the baby book and went to eat a sandwich until the happy people left.
Reason # 1,249 that this religion is just so very wrong.
