Well, you tell me. Knorr taught that those alive in 1914 old enough to note the significance of WWI would not pass away until Armageddon. That teaching was changed after Knorr died. Knorr was part of that generation (he was born in 1905), and that generation has passed away except for the very few centigenarians. A teaching about the timing future events has both (1) failed and (2) been rejected by the GB.

Read the Knorr produced Watchtower magazine the first year after Rutherford's death. Ya can't even see where Rutherford died. Knorr was a Rutherford pocket puppet. Two pups from the same bitch.

"MAKE HIM A FALSE PROPHET OR WHAT?"
It makes him a non-prophet (not to be confused with "nonprofit"), and if the WTS continues its miserable existance longe enough, he'll soon be a nonentitty, just another memory dustball to be swept under the WTS's rug of lies.

I had the impression that it was Fred Franz who was writing many of the articles before and after Rutherford's death--that's why the style didn't seem to change much.

It means that the dubs have to start their preaching work, as a witness to the whole world, all over again, as they are preaching a new message. All those hours and shoe leather of the pubs and pios was a waste on a false message.

Knorr did not write WTS articles, nor did he invent any WT doctrine. Freddie did that for him. Knorr didn't even bother to read WT literature much of the time. He admitted as much. Knorr was a businessman and his "calling" from "Jehovah" was to turn the WTS into a well-oiled printing conglomerate. He did that better than anyone in WT history.
