The average jw has no clue how to "prove" 1914. They dread that talk topic and will bring a heavy-hitting jw to handle it....but they won't be able to.

Quirky, I second GaryBuss... You can use the bible to prove anything.. any date, any teaching such as child killing, witch burning, etyc... it's all in there...

Next you have to explain the "time, times and half a time."
I always figured it meant "regular time (time), overtime (times) and part-time (half a time)."
But now that we have an extra night each week for study, I'll be able to get a better in-depth understanding of the matter.
