I would tell them " I have learn the defference between God and the Watchtower Org. and prefer and chose God. ( however I will use the name Jehovah for their understanding)

Seriously, I don't think there is anything you can say\do other than listening to them and respecting their decision. Whether they go back because they believe its the truth or for better family relations, its their choice. There are a number of folks on this board that have "left" but are still in. What's the difference? Everyone's limit on what they are willing to endure is different.
Praise Jah or don't. Its totally up to you.

The good old times? And, when I get back, I will find that the religion itself has changed so much that the "good old times" are no longer. Not to mention that most of the "joy" was thinking I was learning the truth--now I know it's a big fat lie.

For the most part I try to avoid giving advice, solicited or otherwise. I'll suggest that someone do their own research, without anyone else looking over their shoulder, and choose the path they're most comfortable with.
Everyone is unique. What's good for me might be shit for someone else. I don't want to be responsible for someone else's life course. I have enough trouble with my own.
