    Yes, I was going to say the same thing! The aurochs was a pretty awesome Pleistocene bovid that went extinct only in 1627; it impressed Ice Age cave painters as much as later Bible writers. OTOH it is almost brought back via selective breeding (Heck cattle), so maybe cloning efforts may better be directed towards the wooley mammoth.
