Uhm, check out (if you haven't already) the movie "Religulous" by Bill Maher. At one point during the movie he interviews a scientist who has studied that very phenomenon. Or, go to http://www.sciam.com/ (Scientific American magazine) or one of the other science magazines and try those sites. Popular Science and Popular Mechanics have some good articles; I still remember how the readership of Popular Mechanics flipped when they ran a very accurate facsimile of what Jesus probably would have looked like! Rebel8, the significance is that science may be able to develop a vaccine against the Borg! It won't work on those already infected but could save millions from being suckered into it. Just need to get it distributed to pediatricians worldwide. Perhaps the UN can help with that.
