LOL. I had a JW friends on facebook. Who was listed one my friends list last night now today she isn't there. I guess she saw ,y B-day wish for one my other friends, or it was my pro republican flair I posted.

I don't care if she is my friend or not, but I would like her to explain herself. So that way I can tell her that no one can ever accuse her of being open minded.

    I've never fully understood facebook.

There is usually music, pictures, and all these people as 'friends' that people rarely see... and your life blathered all over the net, moreso than here.

But hey, I'm just turning into a crotchetey old man whining about you kids walking on my lawn and all, shaking my cane.

If I was a die hard JW like that, I would do that too. No surprise there!

Yeah but this girl isn't w/o her own flaws. She left the "truth"long enough to have 3 kids 2 different fathers. then she came back all holier than thou. And now I can't have a policital opinion or wish someone happy b day?

Keep in mind I have 3 other JW friends on there who haven't raised an eyebrow. One even commented on my Rush Limbaugh statement. So she can put on her big girl panties and get over herself.

    loosie,

The ones that have 'sinned' are the WORST! They come back holier than thou 100X worse than before.

Take my advice; get rid of all your dub friends. They are no good.

    Loosie,

I've been shunned on Facebook on occasion, too.

I don't want to sound desparate by asking her why? I just want her to explain herself so she can see how stupid it sounds.

Loosie ......you could be my friend on facebook if only you could accept my democratic views :)

I deleted several "friends" on facebook. I have no time for friend collecters and won't bother with someone I have no real life history with.

    Loosie,

You're right. That was an overreaction, even for a JW. When I was in I remember overhearing another JW wish a "worldly" person happy birthday. I remember thinking it a bit odd, but it never occured to me that I should drop her as a friend or tattle on her, etc. And I was fairly strict then, too. I think she owes you an explanation.
