This is one of the Society's annual "don't partake" articles; it's a sure a sign of Spring as daffodils and tulips! (The annual recurring subject, usually in the KM, is the "don't misbehave at the district conventions!)

This is worse than any of the pre-Christmas preparations ever was when I was in! They have all these talks, preparations of the Kingdumb Hell, wastes of paper to hand out, pio-sneer drives, and directions from the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger about what to do once you are there (along with instructions to invite everyone). All so they can watch a plate of crackers and a glass of spoiled grape juice go around the auditorium. Of course, no one partakes.

All that preparation to reject Jesus. I can, and will, reject Jesus' sacrifice without a single second of preparation for it. No handing out wastes of paper. No pio-sneering before and after. No reading the accounts of the Bible to get the scene of it. And no wasting my time going to the Kingdumb Hell.

Now, that does not mean I am going to reject 100% of Jesus' teachings. Jesus did tell us, symbolically, that we should stay free from organized religion, if we are to avoid stagnation. So I intend to do that. As for the sacrifice, since I do not believe that I was conceived in sin (nor was anyone else), I don't need it.

    6. In this prophecy, the Servant speaks of his Father as "the Sovereign Lord Jehovah." This shows that the Servant had learned the fundamental truth of Jehovah's universal sovereignty.

If the issue of "universal sovereignty" was so important, why was it not the focus of Jesus' ministry? Are those two words ever found in the New Testament? Did Jesus ever teach his disciples the "fundamental truth" of "Jehovah's universal sovereignty"? After all, JW's teach that this is the true issue at hand, and not the wonderful ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

    Thanks for your efforts Blondie.

I know that is a lot of work. I'm sure you have a "retch basket" handy, i know i would.

I usually copy pieces i may need in the future to convince certain members of my family. Today i copied your use of the 4/1/07 WT, their deliverance in 1919, despite the fact they celebrated bday's, christmas, used the cross and pyramids, things that would get us DF'd in 2 seconds today.

    Thanks again!

    Thanks Blondie,

Have been lurking on and off on here lately, but still take the time to read your reviews, sure helps me know what her mood/attitude will be like after a Sunday meeting, and also helps me with a good 'critical' question every now and then.

Appreciate your wonderful work more and more each day, thanks again,

    ISOT
