Thanks for the replies everyone. Psst! I just saw two young boys dressed like jws pass my window. On second thought they could be Mormons.
Anywhoo, I think the unemployment rate is just as high here and it's a tad more expensive here well food-wise but if you're smart about it it's all good. I'm looking into getting a job that will help us get by, teller or care provider. Hubby is still doing his commodities consulting, which kinda got waylaid cuz his mac went down and had to be repaired. My computer is being worked on by our new neighbor and I hope to have it back soon (yeah I'm on hubby's mac ). Right now we're in a small 2 bedroom apartment (my parents got this for us) and hope to be out of it soon after the kids are out of school for the summer.

Ohhh Josie!! I've been wondering about you!! Welcome to Cali! If nothing else, the weather is good, huh? I'm so sorry about the house. The Bay Area seems to be holding up better than some other areas. At least from all the help wanted signs I see.

Josie, I'm glad you're back in Calif. where you wanted to be but I'm sorry we didn't get to meet! Bummer.
