Xena:
Here's my driver's licence photo. Will this get me into F threads?

LOLOL...I love it when I get asked for my ID and, believe it or not, it actually happens on occasion!! Woohoo!! But I really think it's coz they feel sorry for me...kinda along the lines of "hey, let's make the old broad feel good" but who cares??!!! Still makes my day
Mindchild,
Glad you stood your ground, altho I swear I always end up behind shoppers like you *groan*. And always when I'm in a hurry of course. Anyway, you said
I find it sad how stupid people have become in this culture and how terrified they are of breaking the rules.

Yikes, and all this time I thought you were a cute, furry critter...sigh

ROTFLMAO at expa. (now worried that it really is his picture!)
Hahaha You guys are great! I think I will make sure next time that Lauralisa and Xena are not standing behind me and call Bendrr on my cell phone so he could come down and help out

Ha! I had the reverse happen :-(
I was purchasing diapers for my grandson and, for some reason, the clerk said something indicating I was much too old for having a child. And another time, a clerk (kid) asked me if I wanted the senior discount. Sigh.
Satrap: someone with very little authority who wields it vigorously. E.g., security guard, bus driver, waitress, secretary (gate-keeper), Wall-Mart clerk, etc.
Btw, good to see you again Mindchild.
Let me go get my walker now afore I fall down! Heh,heh.
Cheers!
Pat
Now just a cottin pickin' minute, Patio. I AM one of those "gatekeeper" Secretaries (excuse me...Executive Adminsitrative Assistant...sigh!). If I put every sales/survey/"need a job person" into my boss, I'd be out on the street in no time flat. [>:(] I do, however, try to inquire tactfully and intelligently; unlike Mindchild's No. 6 clerk at WalMart who defnitely was not using her brain.
By the way...WalMart advertises they are lowering prices everyday. If that's the case, how come nothing is free yet? [8>]

P.S. In case you missed Mr. Mouse:
"Wicked men obey from fear; good men, from love".... Aristotle. You can love and obey Christ without intervention from an organization.
