I thought they had a plan to move all printing for Western Europe to Selters anyway. And branches would be left in countries with a smaller staff for administrative purposes only.

I'm very interested if someone could translate the info from Madrid.

Subject: Adjustments in the activities of the branch office in Ajalvir (Madrid)

Beloved brothers:

Recently the Governing Body reported to us that, after analyzing the situation concerning the (tasks of impression??????) in Europe, it decided to discontinue within some months the work of press, storage and distribution of publications to other countries, that up to now the branch office of Spain has handled.

Our brothers express its gratitude for which has done itself in Spain as one of the four branch offices printers in Europe, in these words: "During many years your branch office has supported the work in Spain and in the world, all of which is appreciated enormously. The Governing Body is convinced that all this has been achieved thanks to the blessing of Jehovah, and by the direction of his spirit the branch office excels, as to the Holy One willingness of the brothers of Spain". Although we will not produce the magazines and some other publications in our branch office, we trust we all will continue lending generous support to the worldwide work, according to the possibilities of each one.

Our offices continue being in charge of the bulk of the work—the one that (???? ropes) the branch offices for its respective territories -- what include the attention of the congregations, the supervision of the service traveling overseer, the (official????) to regulate and special, the organization of the assemblies and other many things. On the other hand, is obvious that these adjustments necessitate some changes in the branch office, of which we will report to you soon. Although for the moment this as much as we can tell you, we are sure that you appreciate knowing this information.

While we continue working you united, under the direction of the organization that God directs by means of its spirit, we send you our deep Christian love (Ezekiel 1:12-21; Matthew 24:45-47).

This kinda makes sense. Downsizing, less interest in Western countries, the global recession, WT has to be struggling to find ways to keep the "preaching work" going and not go bankrupt.
