Shiny Wrappers; Rotten Candy

Good morning, cameo:
Yes, anything paper: shiny tea bag envelopes, paper labels from cans, paper bags of all sorts, cardboard food containers, old envelopes, etc.
Of course, the shiny papers are most desirable.
My mother did this, so I guess my saving all things paper is genetic. I cannot throw this stuff away ...
Do you want to hear about my bottle collection?
PS: why is the candy "rotten"?

Ah, yes ... metaphors!
More and more I am discarding the shiny paper of the WTB&TS. Both the Memorial and Christ's brothers [many of the anointed were personal friends] were the focal point of my JW heritage. Now, it's all related to your clever metaphor.
Thanks, cameo, for elucidating ...

I get rid of the candy, threw most of the wrappers away. But those few that I just stuffed in the couch cushions keep biting me in the behind.

"Do you want to hear about my bottle collection?"
Hello CC.
While i know the comment was directed to another member CC, would you mind talking about your collection? I love old soda bottles and have one myself...from the 50's I think it is. I also have a 2 fluid oz bottle of " Coopers (triple test) CAMPHORATED OIL" that was made by the "Balsamea Medicine Company" and has a price on it of 25 cents. Even has a wooden cork in it and not a twist cap.
