The conference call this week will bring us up to date on all those demonstrating at Kingdom Halls on Memorial night. It will be fascinating to find out how the Witnesses reacted when they saw the demonstrators. Also scheduled to be on the call is former Circuit Overseer R. Reed. He will share with us what goes on in the world of the Circuit Overseers. All are invited to come on the Six Screens of the Watchtower conference call. It's easy to come on the call, just dial (712)432-8710 and when asked for pin number use 9925. There is no charge for the call, just your normal calling rates apply. The lines open up at 6:30 p.m.EST, and our program starts at 7 p.m.EST. So come in early and talk to so many people who have been "touched by the tentacles of the Watchtower". Isaacaustin the Memorial demonstration went well. We had several people helping us out. One young man, not a Jehovah's Witness, came over to talk with us. He even took one of our pamphlets listing our websites and the conference call. He said he would check them out. There are two congregations that meet there but, it didn't seem to be a "sold out"event. Tune in to the conference call on Sat. April 11 and you will here the stories of what happened at other Kingdom Halls where others were protesting.

Thanks Inez. I will do my best to call in Sat. You did accomplish something again. You spoke to someone and educated someone- perhaps innoculating someone toward the WT. You may have prevented this man...as well as others incidental to his life from joining the cult. Good job! Keep up the efforts!

Granted it is very hard to get active Witnesses who are totally loyal to the WAtchtower org. to read the signs or to come over and talk to you. Where these demonstrations really work is getting people to see the other side of the Watchtower org. and what they are hiding behind. That is one of our chief reasons for showing up at the Kingdom Hall. And that aspect of our demonstrations is really working.

These demonstrations also connect with the conscious class" "those who have one foot in and one foot out". These people were at least willing to slow down and read the signs. Some even took notes. It's almost as if they were agreeing with us in a silent way.

Why the need to set up demonstrations? Those of us that left, did so because we chose to on our own accord. Personally I think, live and let live. I don't agree with them, or any other organized religion for that matter, but I certainly am not going to begrudge them the right to practice whatever religion they wish. They are still people. They are people that believe strongly in their faith. Who are we to judge? If we judge them then that makes us no better than them.

Why bother to demonstrate at the KH? Perhaps some parent will read the signs and decide next month to not force their child to die over the blood transfusion rules or a mother dying from blood loss after childbirth, might decide to choose life rather than the WT ritual suicide. All because a protest sign or tract caused them to think. We are better than they are, because we know this is wrong and we choose to do something about it, rather than sit on our hands. I agree to let JW's believe any wacky WT idea in the name of religion they choose, but killing children is not allowed, whether in the name of religion or not.
