Which laundry detergent do you use?

I have found the front loader detergents lacking. I have reverted to normal liquid Tide, All, or to be honest whats ever on sale. These front loaders use very little water, and I sometimes find the clothes don't smell clean. When I use the regular detergents, there is not problem....just about any brand.

Greetings, asilentone:
Thought you'd never ask. Before responding, however ...
The absolute worst stuff I have tried is Sun detergent. It stinks.
Ha! Classic SUN Detergent is only 3 bucks a box so I put up with the odeur de pew. Actually, I just looked at the 4.81 pound box and it claims to be Mountain Fresh. I can buy that.
I do all my wash in the bathtub, so I soak my laundry first in SUN and Scalding H20 from the tap. Sometimes I boil my delicates on the range. After it gets a good slosh and soak, I scrub my laundry on a glass National No. 512 washboard with a bar of IVORY SOAP.
The results are spectacular. Wish I had my old, square Maytag wringer washer.

We use Ecos Laundry Detergent. We have a front loading washer and it works just fine. One day we would like to put a grey water system in, and this detergent would be good for that. Oh, and we buy it at Costco.
