Outlaw, yes I plan to buy the same tires, and by the way I find the lack of concern very odd too.

39k from Pirellis? Damn bro, u did good. Pirellis are known for having soft sidewalls and spliting treads. I use them but at 15k I'm shopping for new tires. I decided on the Goodyear Eagle F1's for performance this time around

With such low mileage I would say manufacturing defect. But with a kid driving it, you cannot be so sure it has not been misused...

39k low mileage? Perfomance tires many times have no mileage rating

I think Tire Discounters is a national chain. If you buy four tires, they give you an alignment for free. I've been very happy with Tire Discounters.

    Just FYI.

It seems like I have this problem every 2-3 years. It's always the front. Alignment. I guess I drive like I argue, all over the place

Beks is your car front wheel or rear wheel drive. I have a front wheel drive performance car and if I don't rotate the tires I will eat front tires at double the pace of rear tires.

BTW the main reason I don't go cheap on tires is not performance like racing or cruising through the mountains. I want to be able to stop when I need to. I've had several close calls wherew I know that cheap tires would have meant an accident.

I'm constantly checking tire pressure and wear. It can make a huge differance in performance and wear

In the first year or two, a cars suspension settles and it will need an alignment, this is normal. This has been true for every new car I have owned. If you wait until you see tire wear it is too late, the tires will continue the uneven wear, even after you have the car aligned.

Since the factory tires are generally the cheapest junk tires the manufacturer can get, I usually wait until they are shot and replace all four. If you are only going to buy two tires, buy the OEM tires, put the two new tires on the front and the old tires on the back. I would buy four new tires, the Kumho Ecsta ASX are an excellent Ultra High Performance All-Season long wearing tire. I have put Kumho tires on four of my vehicles and have put over 100K miles on Kumho tires, with no problems.

Ignore the husband not the steering wheel shaking.

Well when you put it like that, there's no fun in it.
