Good post and opinion. I don’t think the GB are afraid of the ex JW. It doesn’t play a big role in the congregations. JE are well learned to refuse to listen to those. What scare them most are bad publicity. That’s what makes them think a little bit. But most are so old that the thinking ability is close to zero. So I agree that they have stopped think of renewing anything.
