Hey, B the X.... do you have to 'submit' things in Uni? Me thinks Yes. Submit...it's everywhere.

NEVER!!! At university, I "turn in" or "hand in" my assignments. I don't even "submit" applications, I simply "apply".
A further reason to avoid that word now is having Mitt Romney in the news. Since "sub" can mean "submarine sandwich", "substitute", "underneath", the word "submit" is too much like "sub Mitt", which would mean to be "underneath a substitute Mitt Romney sandwich"... and that just sounds ultra-weird.

Personally...I can't stand it when my DVD player tells me to 'wait' when I am turning it off....WAIT!!! F*#k OFF!!!
