It's one thing to risk your own life...(wading through crocodile-infested water to get to a Kingdom Hall in Africa)...but another thing to risk the life of someone else by coughing on him.

Ninja posted a YouTube video of tv ads from 1976 enouraging people to get the swine flu shot. Now they're saying there is no swine flu shot. What gives?

I know a couple, he's an elder and they have several children, who just left on a second honey-moon trip to Mexico. They left their kiddos at home of course with other family. But I imagine that the scare of the flu is probably not going to make it as nice as their first time going down to Mexico--although I'm not sure how much they left their hotel the first time if you know what I mean. However I hope they don't get sick for their kids' sake. And if they bring it back to their family and get everyone sick that would be awful. At school there was an announcement if you spent spring break in Canada or Mexico you needed to check in with Administration. That was scary--I mean not for me, but just hearing that they're taking this so serious makes you wonder if you should be a bit more panicky or worried.

No shit! I have a brother in law bless his heart goes to meetings even though he is dying from cancer and is taking KEMO, and most of the time he still goes to the meetings, that isn’t commendable or “well spoken of” it’s just plain stupid. 2009-04-29

I wondered what that loud cheering from the south was all about....500,000 JWs who have a guilt-free excuse to miss meetings and service.

Some minutes ago it's been confirmed the news that every public theocratic activity should be suspended in Mexico. The Superintendents of circuit are receiving the following communiqué:
In harmony with the contingency that there is the Influenza, we communicate the following:
Meetings of Congregation: In light of the fact that the health sector authorities have imposed restrictions on meeting in public, until further notice, we recommend you carry out the meetings of the Biblical Study of Congregation, the School of the Theocratic Department, the Meeting of Service and the study of The Watchtower, like the family, inside their homes. This would be additional to its program of Family Worship.
Field Service: They will be able to participate in the preaching in an informal way, by telephone, letter and to be concentrate on the activity of return visits and bible studies. The publishers could communicate with the student asking him if is willing to receive the study, being assured there is no sickness. We recommend that they carry mouth covers and to continue the guidelines distributed for the protection of the health.
ROUTES OF PRECURSORS; ASSIGNED TO TERRITORY LITTLE WORKED:
For the brothers that are assigned to a route, be of precursors, or to territory that is worked with little frequency, they should not travel, for the moment its allocation is suspended.

From Argentina we're sure that Jehovah blesses the brothers of Mexico so that through this situation they find new ways to continue carrying out the work of witnessing by other media that do not put in risk their physical health and they can take care of above all their spiritual health. The work not themselves {{detendra}}! !!! Isaías 54:17: "Anyweapon that be formed against you will not be Successful" ... Blessings!!!
(Oh, so it's Saaaaaaatan that's spreading the Swine Flu! What a PIG!)

FYI regarding Rebel's translated post, "precursor" is the Spanish word for "pioneer".
