I personally saw Lyman Swingle in field service many times in Brooklyn Heights.

They turn their time into their congregation the same as we did and as Bethelites do. I did see that some Bethelites were rarely seen out in FS and others were quite active.

I know my experience is from the mid-late sixties and I was a young Bethelite attending the Brooklyn Heights congreation right there at Bethel. I assisted in compiling the monthly service reports. The higher-ups assigned there (and they included Knorr and Grant Suiter) generally reported low-to-mid one-digit hours and little else. The perception was that they were counting mainly public talks or time spent explain Bethel work to associates who sold goods and services to Bethel. I saw - and recorded - these report slips first-hand.

There is a turn-in-your time loophole for anyone who is an elder of higher. You get to count time for giving public talks. So, they stay regular based upon this.
I lived in brooklyn heights for about six years and occasionally saw some of the GB doing street winessing in front of the towers building. I gave Sis Schroeder a big hug when she offered me mags once. Tried to pass on the apostate demons.
