Every year, in college towns around the nation, several kids wind up killing themselves overdoseing on alcohol. I've never heard of one reported death due to a Pot Oh-Dee!

Good points, but can the U.S. really be compared to smaller nations, like Holland and other places where drugs like marijuana, cocaine and heroin are legal? I mean there is an awful big difference in population and demographics between the the two. Maybe that'll be a good topic to research and find out if any studies have been done comparing the two.

I live in Holland. Less young people use cannabis regulary than in England, although here it is decriminalised, and in England it is still an illegal drug.
And besides that, it gave the Dutch government yet another stream of tax income which can be used to fight more common addiction problems such as alcohol.
