I think the West's idea of democracy is quite different from that of the East (if I may be so broad).

Countries that have been influenced by Confucian thought will never be really democratic - in my opinion.

While they may have the trappings of democracy, reality is somewhat different. I do not see China ever being democratic.

The long history, the culture/society and even the language are - in our terms - undemocratic, and they will never forfeit their traditions for some (inferior) 'Western' form of government. When push comes to shove - old habits die hard as their thinking and way of governance is part of the (national) psyche.

Now Japan's economy, which relies for growth on sales abroad of cars, electronics and machinery, is struggling again.

When I started my work life in Amerika in the 70's. The same was said about the US economy.

We relied for growth on sales abroad of cars, electronics and machinery.

You can go to Cleveland and see all the abandoned factories.

The capitalist sold the american worker down the river.

One reason we have comunist and capitalist.

Is so the Gods from Nibiru can rally the sheeple to war and play their game of chess.

Every Government to motivate the people and controll them must have an enemy.

World governments are not trying to provide quality of life for the masses.

World governments are are playing games of chess with the sheeple being pawns, bishops,

    rooks, knights.

I'm not saying I am for communism, because the grass is not always greener on the other side.

In the end, with any government or administration in power the words from the Who song

are appropriate " Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

Having said that. Carl Marx who never worked a day in his life, when he and Engles wrote

the communist manifesto, they envisioned it being implemented in an industrial country

like Germany not an agricultural country like Russia.

Regardless whether you have communism or capitalism, you have a whole shxt load of

lazy people supervising a few people producing or making something.

Its always too many chiefs not enough Indians.
