Yes, a better answer would be,"I don't partake because if I did I would be ostracized and disfellowshipped by my relgion and my friends and family would be prohibitted from associating with me."

I remember well the 1998 quote. I was "in" but feeling less motivated at that time and I recall laughing inwardly at that one. The obvious attempt to coach the correct response was so transparent.
By 2002 I was finished and the WT quote that Nathan Natas put up did pass me by. That is amazing. They say that to admit that to allow other people to make decisions for you, makes you a follower of a cult....Yes they used the word CULT.
