The good part was, that god gave the Israelites piles of hemorrhoids too. Golden replicas as rental payment perhaps? from the Philistines for having used the ark too? These golden "jewels " were in box too, placed besides the original box. Great family bible reading to teach how silly the details in that book are, but the controllers at the wt take it seriously. -

Its interesting, i was wondering what city at that time and place could have supported so many people, let alone lost so many in death and kept functioning. I didnt bother looking it up because.....well.....i assume the number is as fraudulent as the hemroids and rats, but why would they say the number is bogus in the insight book? If its a scribal error them it opens up the whole bible to error if its a lie then the whole bible is open to the charge of exageration or lies. Its a no win to admit its a bad number
