Where have I been?

Hi all. Have received emails from several, asking about my absence on the board.

As you might suspect, I'm a little busy with the baby but the real reason I've been missing is......

I broke my foot.

Yes it's true. So it's a bit hard to get around, I'm supposed to be on bedrest because the DR wouldn't cast me. Said I didn't need to be trying to handle crutches and a baby. I go back this week--we're gonna see how it's healing without a hard cast--it's in a soft cast.

No, we don't know how I did it--just by walking I guess.

Howdy Lisa,

I had my arm in a "hard cast" when my 3rd baby was 7 mos. old (and before those little tape fastners.) It was my left arm, and naturally, I'm left handed. Did I tell there were terrible blizzards that winter, and I got pneumonia too?

LOL - I think that counts for an "O-so-puny-life" vote! My Life!

Anyway.......it got better, I just stayed in a long time. We were snowed in when the cast was to be taken off, and I'd taken casts off my baby before (club feet) by soaking.....so I just tore mine off. Big Friggin' Mistake! I had no idea just how tender skin can be.

I think TR had the best advice - get all the sympathy/candy/hugs/dinners delivered you can. Hope you can enjoy!
