Ziddina, it says plenty about a religion if the adherents are unsurprised to be given permission to eat fats. What if the answer had been otherwise? Would they have stopped eating fats?

My apologies for not stating earlier and much more CLEARLY - THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Atlantis, for posting that information.
I'm beginning to think that the guy who first handed the magazine to me may have, as some have suggested here, handed me a satirical "Witch-Tower" type of magazine.
I've read most of the "Witchtowers" present online, and haven't come across that particular spoof, yet.
But again, thanks to Atlantis, and to all others who posted, too.
