My questions are: why not families that have seen their loved ones die as a result of no blood transfusion policy sue for wrongful death? By the way, what was former WTS position on organ transplant and vaccination? Before that policy change, did many JWs got deseases as a result of rejecting it?It seems to me the WTS has inadvertently put themselves in a somewhat a legal dilemma and a popularity one as well, thats why they
have changed their blood fraction policies again and again. They do not want the publicity of having one of their members dieing from
not taking a transfusion and they certainly are aware of what could possibly happen legally if they were to reverse this decision as they
did with organ transplants and vaccinations ( Homerovah the Almighty).
Here's a slightly different perspective based upon the topic/question itself:
Blood Fraction or Blood Transfusion- Are they same?
"Transfusion" describes the method of administration.
For example, a patient connected by IV to a suspended 500ml unit of albumin solution is receiving a blood transfusion. This procedure is permissible to Witnesses.
A patient connected by IV to a suspended 500ml unit of plasma is also receiving a blood transfusion. This procedure is forbidden to Witnesses.
Witness policy actually allows some transfusions and forbids others
