Okay, pardon me for sounding like all the releases indicate a serious money concern (again).
A songbook soon to be released. That's just for the dubs. They already ran a bunch of softcover Bibles to fill some small warehouse room and now they will fill a small room with "new" softcover songbooks. They saw the need to run these, and rather than run the old ones again, can make a few changes and try to excite the members about it being new.
A new DVD. Fine and dandy. They have a whole video department to aid the American Sign Language congregations grow. These ASL congregations help keep "growth" in the USA, so they are vital. Making a video is no big deal for them. And it costs pennies per copy and the copies must be ordered, not placed randomly in the field.
A book just for the dubs- enough said. Short run on the presses. Try to get the dubs to contribute for it.
A brochure- expect stuff like this for the field service.
They may be looking down the road at the possibility of NOT PRINTING if these types of releases are an indicator of what's to come.
Don't be surprised if there are still more and more cutbacks of printing at the printing company.
