    How about black leather mini-skirts?

I had one that I was only allowed to wear in high school. I wore it with a red V-neck sweater backwards. Black lace stockings and black high pumps. Of course, I could never wear it to the Kingdom Hall!

How could I forget designer jeans?

    -Calvin Klein
    -Guess
    -Sergio Taschini
    -Jordasche

Of course, they had to fit nice and tight, too.

    Hey closer2fine,

Back here in New England we used to pull up our white ankle socks over our jeans. I don't know how that ever got started, we thought we looked fantastic.

From what little I can recall, the 80's were great fun! Too bad so much of it is a blur.

Friendship Bands (I think that was what they were called) - Little bands that tied on your wrists, really bright colours, made from something like embroidary silks

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Had to be removed to attend meetings[8>]

Angharad, I remeber those friendship bands - i never had one for two reasons.

    1. I'm a dude and wouldn't be caught dead wearing one
    2. I was JW, so I didn't have friends

I'm probably defining myself as a top level geek, but does anyone remember Dungeons and Dragons?
